Hot Chocolate 5K

We had such a good time last year that we decided to run the Hot Chocolate 5K again this year. Carmen didn't have a scheduling conflict this time, so the three of us drove downtown early Saturday morning.

It was a little chilly before the race, but it felt great on the course.

I wasn't sure what to expect of myself, but I finished in 24:57, a new personal best. Carmen was right behind me in 25:33, and Amber kept it under 30 with a time of 29:37.

After the race we got our hot chocolate and took some selfies before driving home.
