Easter

Because of a weird scheduling quirk, we were forced to have our fast Sunday on Easter. Never seen that before. We're on the late church schedule, so the kids had to wait extra long for the Easter Bunny to stop by while we were at church. They didn't waste any time finding their baskets once they got home.

They got some candy and craft supplies and a few toys. Damon and Miles were very interested in the superheroes.

That night we dyed Easter eggs with a friend from the ward.

Eggigator and Spider-Egg were declared the best in show.

Spring Festival

We went to the neighborhood Spring Festival on Saturday. They had many of the same attractions as always, like bounce houses, balloon animals, petting zoo, and carnival games, but a new one this year was the velcro wall. Carmen thought it was very funny until she realized she couldn't get down.

The big event is the Easter egg hunt. We had kids in all the different age brackets. Miles wasn't particularly enthusiastic about his.

I wasn't allowed to help Damon, but he ended up having a great time and finding plenty of eggs.

Carmen snuck into Damon's age group (she's small) and Olivia spent most of the time off with her friends.

After the egg hunts we got some balloon animals and rode the train until it was time to head home.
